We are proud to offer individualized treatment programs targeting primitive reflex integration.
What are primitive reflexes? They are reflexive movements a child is born with. They help a baby with their very first movements such as grasping and sucking. They help a child also roll over and begin to crawl.
Sometimes these reflexes do not "go away" or integrate. This can cause a "snag" developmentally for children. Even those children who are developmentally on track but they have a few areas of concern such as emotional regulation, balance, and handwriting.
Our Occupational Therapist will work with the child and their caregiver(s) to create a program specific to their needs to strengthen their brain and improve their quality of life.
